SSD recommendations
Anyone have any recommendations as far as brand goes?

Samsung right now is probably one of the most preferred options. They have different models though which vary in speed/life of drive/etc but I have one from about 2 years ago and its been great. Crucial and Intel are some other choices, rest of the companies are so-so.

Stay away from OCZ. I've had them brick on me twice. They RMA'd it both times, but man it was a pain in the ass. I still have one in my system and I feel like it is a ticking timebomb.
I hear good things about Crucial, I think that what I am going for on my next one.

I have always used the Crucial M500 SSDs. Never had an issue with my original 512GB and love the new 960 GB I am using now.

Most reviews do say the 840 pro is the way to go.

If you haven't got an SSD, I highly highly highly highly recommend it.
