So I decided to spend a bit of money on myself, because that week or two where I let the gf make all my food decisions, I ended up saving a ton of money. Turns out, I eat a lot. That and I won a couple award thingies.

So my current pc parts:
Motherboard: ASUS P6X58D Premium
Processor: i7 930
Video Card: 2 x palit 460 gtx 1gb.
memory: Corsair 6 GB PC3-12800 1600MHz 240-Pin DDR3
HD: 1tb caviar black western digital i think

ideas:

getting a 80gb ssd (windows 7 + WoW + SC2) and another 3 sticks of 2gb ram (same ram as the other 6gb)

I use a usb headset so a sound card would be kind of pointless.

got any other ideas?

Something tells me that the usb microwave has the power output less than an easy bake oven, and it'll take me mroe than a raid's duration to heat up one pizza roll.

the foot pedal makes me feel like i'm playing a piano while raiding; both have a keyboard and foot pedals. One of those activities leads to getting chicks, the other .... not so much.

I think I'm going to get some quiet pc case fans, and spend the weekend working on cleaning out the pc, maybe doing a clean install, and getting some wire management. Right now I have 5 case fans (120mm) and one of them is an antec tri color and the oher 4 are from like radioshack. I didn't know there was such a difference in quality/sound level. My case literally is about as loud as the air conditioner.

Sooo..what are you going to do with 12GB of RAM? Wait for Crysis 12 to come out?
