fucking ui reset

I installed a windows update and restarted my PC (not 100% that was the cause) and my fucking UI is completely borked. Done everything and I don't think it can be salvaged other than restoring a 3 month old backup with none of my mages UI set up. FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK

What windows you running? Is your computer doing system restores?

I've lost my UI like 4 times, it infuriates me and frustrates me every time. Also, a not insignificant amount of heartbreak.
I still never back that shit up.

win10, and I don't have any restore point set up I don't think. im terrible with backup stuff
redid floobUI from scratch but I'm sure I missed something important. we'll see...

System restore was usually defaulted to On with Windows 7 but I don't know with 10. Search for the application and see if it was doing anything.
If you want a good backup solution with unlimited storage(not free) that will backup to cloud as well, check out Crashplan or Backblaze. Both are great that I've used in an enterprise environment which are afforadbly priced. There might be free options that have storage limits or non-cloud based but it depends on your backup size and how reliable your local backup drive is.
