New Computer Related Accessories

Post by Crazyheals »

So I am planning on buying some stuff to make my computer area a little nicer and I need some recommendations on what to buy. Here is the list of things I want.

Keyboard
Mouse
Monitor
Computer Chair

gogogo, and be realistic, don't post a link to some insane monitor for $30,000 please.

I really like the Razor Naga... the 12 buttons on the side are pretty awesome to add to your keybinds so you don't have to go modifier crazy. I've also been enjoying the Blackwidow mechanical keyboard. I usually don't touch my keyboard too much for wow (g13 ftw) but I just like the feel for typing in general.

I've been looking for a new chair for a long time. I love to hear some suggestions for something.

For monitors. I have 2 Dell Ultrasharp 2709s and the newer U2711 is amazing. The smaller U2410 is also awesome.
Price no option my choice is the Apple LED Cinema 27"

A mouse and Keyboard are always a personal decision. Hard to recommend. But the Naga Epic is awesome.

I need to find a new chair as well, also if you decide on a upper end mouse pick up a hard mouse pad not just a cheap cloth one makes a big difference. I'd say find a place in your area that has display models or will let you open a box

also I would highly recommend adjustable monitor stands like...

http://www.amazon.com/Lx-Dual-Side-Arm/ ... 85&sr=8-14

with 2 monitors I think those are pretty close to must haves and still super nice even with just 1 monitor. You can find em cheaper than that and also fit just 1 monitor as well

For those of us sitting behind a computer/desk for many hours every single day I'd highly recommend one of Herman Miller's Aeron chairs http://www.hermanmiller.com/Products/Aeron-Chairs. There's a reason why almost every single company out there worth a shit buys them for their employees (they are the best you can get to keep your employees healthy and comfortable which means more productive). They are the only chairs I could recommend and use them at both work and home. They used to cost quite a bit more but these days you can find them for under $1k which is honestly a great deal.

I have one of these chair, and it is AH-MAZING. Bought mine used a couple years ago for $500 and thought I was getting the deal of the century. Wouldn't want to sit on anything else while I play wow for 12 hours straight!

PS, Tal, I came back to wow cause I heard you were back, but you aren't. /sadpanda
